Bearings and wear parts 

The extreme hardness and density of sintered SiC make it suitable for parts subjected to high wear and sliding abrasion. Sintered parts made from SiC provide exceedingly high strength and resistance to creep.

Wear resistance, strength at high temperatures and corrosion resistance make reaction bonded SiC (SiSiC) an ideal material for wear components like screws, plates and impellers.
